Seven Laws of Motion Applicable to Employees

Seven Laws of Motion
(Applicable to Indian Employees/Members of Indian Organizations)
Sir Issac Newton invented three Laws of Motion applicable to matter (innate being),
Here are seven Laws of Motion applicable to employees/members(human being) of Indian organizations.
Find your position/status in your organization and select which law is applicable to you?
Ist Law of Motion - Law of Immotion
“This law states that a person remains at the same post for all his career at which recruited and retires ‘enjoying’/ vegetating at the same post and no external and internal force causes any motion or movement.”
This law is applicable to those people who have been recruited due to faulty recruitment procedure or due to some mistakes somewhere in the recruitment/selection system; also applicable to those who have been recruited /selected due to heavy internal(within organization) or external force/pressure or connection. These people neither have knowledge, skill, internal urge or tact to cause their movement/motion themselves in the organizational hierarchy or use the external/internal connection for the same. They remain at the post at which they are employed/recruited first i.e. they remain immobile in organization’s hierarchy. They remain employed but retire on the same post. They are very rarely sent out of the organization. Ist law of Motion (i.e. Law of Immotion) is applicable to this kind of Indian Employees.
2nd Law of Motion – Law of Ill motion
“Movement of a person in the organizational hierarchy is directly proportional to quantum & type of nuisance value (ill will) a person possess and uses. This law states that a person moves up fast in the organizational hierarchy due to nuisance value he poses.”
This law is applicable to those employees who have ill will towards others including the organization. They are the negative people; create problems for others, including boss, colleagues & sub-ordinates. They are the nuisance making people capable of doing harm to boss and organization both. Because of ill will towards others they cause their motion up in organizational hierarchy i.e. they force the organization to promote them faster than others. Sometimes they are also chucked out of organization but it is very rare
Not only fast promotion they get many kinds of other privileges like choice of posting, less number of transfers, more of outing/tour (including foreign visit) in name of training/seminars/meetings or some office work.
These people mostly find their places in Associations/Unions. Some time they use legal recourse also for getting up in organizational hierarchy and get other benefit but least productive for the organization. Organization exists for them not vice versa.
3rd Law of Motion - Law of Premotion
a) “This law states that movement in organizational hierarchy is directly proportioned to the quantum & type of external connection/pressure possessed and applied by a person. In simple word as per this law a person moves fast in organizational hierarchy due to his external connection & pressure.”
This law is applicable to those who use their skill/tact in applying their heavy external connection/pressure in moving up in organizational hierarchy much faster than others. They are promoted much earlier than normal course and keep on getting promoted every time till they reach at very high level/ position in organization, sometimes no. 1 or 2 in the organization hierarchy. This category of people are found in quite substantial number in India.
b) “As per this law the movement of a person on the organization ladder is directly proportional to the genius ness posed and applied by a person ‘practically”.
This law is also applicable to those who use their internal urge, commitment, knowledge, skill, tact and enthusiasm in doing extra-ordinary good work and perform par excellence than others. These people also get promoted faster than the routine one. They are the people who can be clubbed under genius category. But these people are rare, very rare in India.
4th Law of Motion -Law of Per motion
“This law states that movement of a person in the organization is directly proportional to the quantum and quality of the personal loyalty the person posses and shows to his boss/superior. In simple words as per this law a person moves faster and earlier than others in organizational hierarchy due to his performance as per the ‘mind’ & ‘desire’ of his boss and superior and not as per his own though he posses the ‘clever mind”.
The word ‘Per’ here is taken from Hindi or Sanskrit word meaning others. This law applies to those who does not fall in above three category. These people use (misuse) ‘others’ mostly their ‘Boss’ to cause their promotion much earlier than usual one or routine one. They ‘use’ (misuse) their boss and their bosses ‘use’ (misuses) them. This happens knowingly, willingly and enthusiastically. They use their all skills, tact and knowledge in pampering the boss out of the way. Therefore, they get promoted out of the way, their Confidential Report (C.R) always or most of the time is excellent/outstanding despite of poor or average performance. Most of the time their performances are manipulated so as to assign the higher rating in their C.R.
Not only faster promotions they get other facilities like choice of posting, transfer on choice, more outing/tour including foreign visits in the name of training/seminars or some office work . They are the people who most of the time abuse, criticize boss in front of colleagues, and call others sycophants but they are real sycophants popularly known as ‘chamchas’. They are the least productive people and always hanker for power & privilege though they pretend to be interested in performance of the organization and its people. The availability of this category of people is maximum in India.
5th Law of Motion - Law of Promotion
“As per this law the movement of a person in the organization hierarchy is directly proportional to the performance of the person towards organization without disturbing /annoying boss.”
This law applies to those who are not belonging to above 4 categories and use their internal urge, education, knowledge, skill, and commitment to do their job in normal and routine way. They neither pamper nor annoy their bosses. They do their work and are just faithful to the organization. They never take any strong stand on any issue. These people are promoted in routine way when their normal turns come. These kinds of people in India are found in average number. They are the average people.
6th Law of Motion - Law of Pert motion
This law states that movement of a person in the organization is directly proportional to the perturbance (disturbance) he causes to himself. Here the word ‘Pert’ is short form of Perturbed. Law of Pert motion or perturbed motion applies to following sub categories of people who are not belonging to above 5 categories and have not got promotion and at some points of time have been superceded by others.”
a) After not getting promoted they are totally frustrated, completely de-motivated, does not work, always critical and becomes cynic. Neither does well for himself nor for organization and completely spoils himself professionally, morally, health wise and socially. Sometimes takes the recourse of smoking & drinking or some other bad habits.
b) After not getting promoted does not get frustrated but due to temptation of promotion changes his track and behavior and follows the path of people falling under the 5th Law of Motion (Law of Permotion). Some of them succeed, if not then they fall in category 6 (a). that means either they become chamcha or get more frustrated.
c) After not getting promotion they do not get frustrated and leave everything to God or destiny but keep on working in routine way. However, if God does not help him sooner fall in category 6 (a). But, some remain in this category forever, but totally de-motivated & demoralized
d) Some people keep on doing work in routine way on the hope that some time they will get promotion, if after due time or considerable time not getting promoted they also fall in 6(a).
e) After not getting promotion, some people leave the organization though they would not like to leave it. Some people who like the work and the organization and want to remain in the organization, but seeing their bleak future in the organization and due to fear of the culture prevailing leave the organization and join other in hope of getting good environment and culture. Finding similar pattern at new place they get frustrated.
They all fall in the 6th law of motion (Law of Pert-motion). That is every one in this category is falling under Law of Perturbed motion, they get promotion but they are perturbed.
7th Law of Motion -Law of Param Motion
This law states that movement of a person in the organization is inversely proportional to the conscience, character, humanity, honesty, integrity, intelligence, wisdom and freedom possessed and applied in true and larger sense of meaning by a person.”
Here the word ‘Param’ has been taken from Sanskrit/Hindi languages denoting Param Motion as ‘Param Gati’ (meaning: Salvation from ordinary and worldly moorings). This law is applicable to those people who are not in above 6 categories and without having any botheration about their movement (motion) in organizational hierarchy keep on pursuing their creative pursuit of art, literature, science, sports, philosophy or whatever work they are engaged. They try to find solace, satisfaction and bliss in perfecting their skill in work (job)/creative pursuit. They never get de-motivated by not having a particular place in organization hierarchy rather if denied, they take it as challenge and get more happiness by putting more effort and endeavor in their creative pursuit. Sometimes they refuse to be moved up in organization hierarchy. They are the people who really change the course in organization, system & society by creating some useful things/idea for humanity. If not successful in outcome, they are blissful in effort itself. But this categories of people are very very rare in India. They are most productive people. They are the people who bear the brunt of criticism by the category 4 people (i.e.Chamchas/ sycophants) most of the time.
It has been found that all types of people working in India either in public or private or govt. or non-govt. organization whether commercial, political, religious, educational or social have been completely categorized in above 7 categories. One or other law is applicable to everybody. Even those who have retired may find which law has been applicable to them. If a person is not able to decide himself may seek help from his colleagues. The response may not be the truth. It may be the perception but it will help the person in deciding which law is applicable to him. Anyone who is not able to decide in which exclusive category he falls or which exclusive laws/sub-laws applies to him or he thinks that mix of above laws is applicable to him, is the 8th wonder of species of Indian employees.
The productivity of employees (Labor Productivity) in India or in Indian organizations is low because the most productive people of category 3(b) and 7 are very rare. The least productive and un-productive people of category 2,4,3(a),5,1 and 6 (in order of severity) are many and in large numbers. The top persons in organizations are appealed to improve or increase the numbers in category 3 (b) & 7. Employees / members in India and Indian organizations are also requested to try their level best to fall in category 3(b) & 7 in order to enhance organization’s productivity and quality as well as happiness /bliss (quality of life) of their own and others’ at the same time.
